Alberta’s vibrant and successful credit unions support and serve their members and communities. Alberta Central is the central banking facility, service bureau and trade association for Alberta’s credit unions. Its purpose is to champion change in the credit union system and bring value and expertise to credit unions, through innovative products and services, thought leadership and advocacy on priority issues, to advance the collective voice of the credit union system.

As President & CEO, you will be responsible for leading Alberta Central in its multi-year journey to being a marketplace connector as the organization works to connect credit unions to the products, services, and partnerships they need to be market leaders. Customer-centricity, innovation and diversification are key pillars to the strategy. In this role, you will bring strategic, collaborative and accountable leadership to the organization. You will work closely with the board, member credit unions, employees, regulators and external stakeholders leading Alberta Central to achieve its strategic goals and operational objectives.

As the successful candidate, you have strong leadership experience at an executive level, in formulating, developing and executing on strategies. You bring a solid understanding of credit unions, the financial sector or a related business. You are a strong advocate for the organization, successfully communicating and facilitating collaborative relationships amongst diverse industry participants. Your skills in negotiating, influencing partners and building alliances have yielded strong results for you and your organization.
